When a challenger brand broke cultural taboos and made women rethink about periods.

Tackling myths and taboos about periods in the UAE.

A majority of women across Jordan, UAE, Lebanon, and Kuwait lack knowledge about their menstrual cycle. Nana believed it was their responsibility to empower them through education.

They took on the challenge in a region populated with cultural taboos. Nana participated in a 2-year research with St. Mary’s University and University College London in the UK, revealing the 4 phases of the menstrual cycle

and providing insights on the right exercises and nutrition for each phase.

The Everyday Fearless movement was born. Weekly influencer-generated videos, content-driven campaigns, and an interactive site were created, dispelling several myths and educating girls about menstruation and its 4 phases. Thus, Nana became a brand that empowered girls not just during their period, but every day.

CONTENT

We've created weekly content about healthy eating and exercise for each phase of your period, addressing period myths in the region and initiating conversations about periods.
