K9 Friends is a dog shelter based in Dubai. Every year, dogs are either left behind because of relocation or owners no longer capable of taking care of them. Special breeds like Shiba Inu and Huskies end up in shelters because new pet owners are unaware of how much time and effort goes into training them, so they are left behind.
 

Adopting or owning a dog is like taking in a child. Dog owners are proud parents. Just like children, dogs are more than just pets; they're family.
